High Meadow Community School, are always on the move. They thrive on change and are always reflecting on their practice as a result of new research, policy changes and new ideas too.

As a school, High Meadow Community School in Coleshill are entering an exciting new phase as their new build is being created over the next twelve months to house their Key Stage 2 children and they are using this once in a lifetime opportunity to look at how they deliver their Creative Arts curriculum.

They have always been a creative school with an annual Art Exhibitions, artists in residence and last year they were awarded the Gold Arts Mark Award for everything they have achieved. This year (and going forward) they are looking at doing things a little differently! They are looking to appoint a member of staff who LOVES art! Someone who may be qualified in an Arts discipline who would then come into the school and bring passion and enthusiasm to their Arts Curriculum. You will teach and lead Art from reception to Year 6 and run after school and/or lunch time Art Clubs too. You may have a background in art, worked as a teacher, teaching assistant, worked as a school club leader or just simply have a passion for art and design.

This is a completely new position in the school so the role is ready to be shaped by someone who is excited and passionate about the Arts in primary schools.
