Calling University of Wolverhampton Music Students and Graduates!
Arts Connect have a paid commission for a Music student or graduate (including Music Tech., Popular Music, etc.) who has experience in audio editing and working with young people to create a soundscape that will be publicly exhibited at the City of Wolverhampton Archives in 2022, as part of Wolverhampton Literature Festival and British Art Show 9.
The commission will include:
· Working with a lead project facilitator and group of young people aged 16-22 to create a soundscape inspired by British Art Show 9 and oral histories of Wolverhampton, for a commission of up to £500. This will be across 5 workshops.
· Leading a practical session/workshop supporting young people to develop audio editing skills with the support of the lead project facilitator.
· Supporting the lead project facilitator and young people to create a soundscape installation at Wolverhampton City Archives.
