The Primary Network is for teachers and artists working in a primary context across Coventry and Warwickshire who want a supportive environment to share resources, develop practice and a pace to network. Working with leading arts organisations across the region, we are meeting once a term to build a network that supports your needs.

This term, the network is meeting at Warwick Arts Centre for a session built around Rana Begum’s exhibition ‘Dappled Light’. Known for her use of colour, light and geometric abstraction, the show includes vibrant paintings, sculptures and installations.

Key themes: Art, architecture, abstraction, colour, construction, geometry, landscape, light, pattern.

The exhibition will be a wonderful starting point for teachers and artists to engage in conversation with arts professionals and other educators to consider new and exciting ways to explore the Primary Art and Design National Curriculum.

Join us for a tour of the show, explore artist resources, and have the opportunity to input into the future direction of the network.
