Creative approaches to developing creative writing from text/books/plays for primary and secondary teachers

Come and join the Creative Writing Network, for Coventry and Warwickshire Cultural Education Partnerships, led by cultural organisations including The Belgrade Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and Arts Connect.
It is open and free to any teacher and for arts, cultural, and heritage organisations/artists. On Wednesday 30 March at Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s Hall’s Croft in Stratford-upon-Avon there will be practical sessions delivered by Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Coventry Belgrade Theatre, exploring different written texts as provocations to developing creative writing including:
• A Shakespeare play
• A story from another culture/place/time
This is also an opportunity to:
• Meet and network with teachers and the arts and cultural sector, to share, practice and find out about opportunities
• Help plan this network so it can support your CPD needs and interests
