Discover the characteristics and skills for learning and teaching in the digital age

In a post-digital world, where technology has the potential to positively impact on the learning and teaching process, this session will aim to: introduce and define the term ‘digital pedagogy’, discover the characteristics and skills for learning and teaching in the digital age, and assess and plan for our own digital practice in the future.

Arts Connect present an afternoon of inspiring artistic digital practice

Hear from John Sear, Harmeet Chagger-Khan (Surfing Lightbeams), Catherine Waddington (Abandon Normal Devices) and Ju Row Farr (Blast Theory), as they share their innovative work and experience in the creative digital field. The afternoon will comprise of presentations and a Q&A with each presenter.

The four presenters are also digital mentors on Arts Connect’s Creative digital leadership Programme. The programme is designed to support arts and cultural organisations and individual artists to develop a leadership role in their digital practice as creators, instigators and deliverers of new digital practices, models, products and ideas.
