A European-funded project for teachers and the heritage sector

Echoes of the Past – Heritage Futures is a European-funded project working with key partners in Portugal, Sweden, Austria and the UK. The aim of the project is twofold:

• firstly to get teachers thinking about how they use post-industrial heritage collections and exhibitions to teach about the local history attached to these subjects
• secondly to get the heritage sector to think about how they might use their post-industrial collections to engage people to re-skill, become volunteers etc
