Elliot Foundation Arts Ambassador Schools Network
Fee: £1,500 (inclusive of travel)
Deadline: Friday 14th January 2022, noon
Call for an Assistant Artist (aged up to, and including, 25 years), with expertise in one or more of the following visual art areas:
Sculpture, Textiles, Installation, 3D art practise in any materials
We are particularly keen to support young artists, up to and including 25 years, who are interested in developing experience and skills around working with schools. This opportunity will involve being mentored by both Arts Connect and by the lead appointed artist, as well as assisting the lead artist in the planning, delivery and evaluation as part of the overall commission with 10 primary schools all part of the Elliot Education Foundation Academy Trust (TEFAT) in the West Midlands.
Arts Connect and The University of Wolverhampton celebrate diversity and recognise that difference brings value to our organisation. We particularly welcome applications from young Artists of Black, Asian, or Ethnic Minority heritage, and/or who are Disabled (including people who whilst not self-defining as disabled do encounter challenges due to a society that disables them by lack of inclusivity).
