Birmingham Education Partnership and Arts Connect are delivering a workshop for Primary Teachers, to explore the role of the Primary Arts Coordinator and how to strengthen provision across the arts and support school improvement.

Venue: Midlands Arts Centre – Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham B12 9QH
Cost: £50 (inclusive of lunch and afternoon tea)
The workshop will include: how to develop the role of arts lead/coordinator; auditing of provision; planning for progression; developing a strategy; implications of the Ofsted framework and commissioning artists. We will also be looking at how Artsmark and Arts Award can be used to maximum effect to strengthen a school’s Arts and Cultural provision and Cultural Capital.
The session will provide practical action planning and an opportunity to share issues and solutions with colleagues.
