Seeking a practitioner, experienced at working creatively with children and young people particularly around developing young people’s voice. The practitioner will deliver up to 6 half days training workshops in schools/youth centres across Warwickshire.
The Warwickshire Cultural Education Partnership, otherwise known as Shout Out for the Arts Warwickshire, has recently been successful gaining a £100,000 partnership investment fund with Barnardo’s, funded by Arts Connect West Midlands.
The programme runs from April 2022 – March 2023 and has activity planned over these 12 months. The aim is to give the children and young people of Warwickshire a voice to ‘shout’ for access to arts and culture. The programme is run by a youth led steering group with members from cultural organisations in Warwickshire. The outcomes of the project have been set by the young people on the steering group.
As part of the partnership we want to recruit 100 Young Arts Ambassadors (aged 8-18 years) to become part of the steering group and to lead on five major events or exhibitions across Warwickshire.
