CALL FOR ARTISTS/ARTS ORGANISATIONS
Project Brief:
We are looking for artist/s or an arts organisation to work with 6 schools in the West Midlands – all members of The Griffin Schools Trust- to deliver a programme of high quality arts experiences based around genres of Dance/Movement, or Visual Arts, or Spoken Word (or a combination of these), leading towards a Celebration Event in June 2018. We are looking to explore the values of respect, tolerance, identity, freedom and our community in an exciting way, recognising that the arts are excellent in creating a greater understanding of the importance of values and in developing cultural capital.
Timescale and Details:
Fee: The fee is £8,600 inclusive of travel and VAT; based on the artist/arts organisation being responsible for own tax and NI on a freelance basis.
Application Deadline: 18 December 2017 (no later than 12.00 noon)
Notification of Interviews: no later than 22 December 2017
Interviews: 23 January 2018
