The Ofsted Inspection Handbook from September 2019 has placed a greater focus on the curriculum. The new quality of education judgement will focus on the overall intention, implementation and impact on learning and progress. How does this impact on the position of the arts in Secondary Schools? Is this an opportunity for the arts? Join the discussion The session will chaired by Tim Boyes and led by Johanne Clifton and Pete Weir.
Tim Boyes is CEO of Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP). He is a National Leader of Education, who consistently championed the Arts throughout his time as a head Teacher. Johanne Clifton is Executive Principal at Billesley Primary School in Birmingham, National Leader of Education and Assistant Director School Improvement at BEP. Pete Weir is Acting Executive Headteacher of Saltley and Tile Cross Academies in Birmingham.
