To recognise and celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Blk Art Group being founded in the city Wolverhampton Art Gallery will be hosting an exciting exhibition of artwork and archive material between April and July 2023.
Arts Connect and Wolverhampton Arts and Culture are working together to ensure young people from across the West Midlands can visit and engage with the exhibition through tours, workshops and learning resources. To support this programme we want to work with 2 visual artists who will plan and lead exhibition tours and creative workshops with young people aged 9-16 years (school/college groups.) Tours and workshops will be inspired by the artwork and themes of Blk Art Group with space for artists to build activities around their artistic specialisms.
