Transition Grant Announcement
We are pleased to share that we have been awarded a Transition Grant by Arts Council England. This will give us the next 7 months to develop a future for the practice and legacy of Arts Connect once our work as the regional Bridge ends in March. We are grateful to ACE for their support and encouragement.
We will also be active in working with schools, teachers, young people and colleagues in the cultural sector through this time. This will involve providing training and advice to the West Midlands schools in the Artsmark programme; working with the region’s Virtual Schools for Children in Care; leading contemporary art activities for schools in the Black Country; working with the Dance Development Leaders Group and distributing Let’s Craft resources for care experienced young people with our partners the Crafts Council.
We would like to thank all our friends, colleagues and partners for their support and incredibly kind messages during what has been a difficult time since the funding announcements last year.
We’ll share updates as we progress and of course will continue to champion children and young people’s access to arts and culture.
