Arts Connect are looking to work with an individual or organisation specialising in delivering professional development workshops/programmes with teachers to lead a creative programme of activities that inspires and supports art educators to embed contemporary art thinking and making processes within their teaching practice.

The individual/organisation will work with up to 10 primary and secondary art teachers from Black Country schools to explore a current contemporary art exhibition (exhibition to be confirmed.) The exhibition artwork and themes will be used as an inspiration to build teachers understanding and confidence and enable them to develop innovative contemporary art learning programmes with their students.

Key dates and information:

  • Submission deadline: Friday 17th June 2022
  • Selection Process: Week beginning 27th June 2022
  • Programme delivery: August 2022-March 2023
  • The fee, inclusive of travel is up to £2,750 + VAT (if applicable)
