We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our development and investment work to increase the engagement of young people in the Arts Award accreditation programme across the West Midlands.

This is a critical role for us in meeting our aim that all children and young people in the region can access and enjoy a rich and meaningful arts and cultural life.

Who will this role suit?
This role will suit someone who can bring their strategic, tactical and operational skills to this mission. You’ll be passionate about arts and young people and the value that Arts Award can add to their lives, especially to those with the least access.

You’ll have the drive to promote opportunities and impact, the relationship skills to persuade and engage others, the awareness to identify opportunities for growth and ideas about finding new ways to develop the award in the region.

As it is a part time role it may suit a practitioner with a portfolio of work or with other personal or family commitments.

Key Details
You’ll be a key member of the Arts Connect team of eight who are based at Midlands Art Centre (MAC) in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.

The post is offered fixed term until March 31st 2021 with a likely extension to March 31 2022 on confirmation of further Arts Council England funding.
