Arts Connect, in partnership with Birmingham Creates, are delivering an ‘in person’ workshop for Primary Teachers, which explores how the role of the Arts Coordinator can strengthen Arts Provision, whilst also supporting school improvement

The workshop will include: how to develop the role of Primary Arts Lead/Coordinator; auditing provision; planning for and tracking progression; commissioning artists; developing your school’s CPD and contributing to Ofsted’s Cultural Capital requirements. We will also be looking at how Artsmark and Arts Award can be used to maximum effect to further strengthen your school’s arts and cultural provision.

The session will provide practical action planning and an opportunity to share issues and solutions with colleagues.
